PIcs from our trip to Sunriver, 1st weekend of Dec

The top picture was taken on the Santiam Pass, by Hoodoo ski area.  The bottom picture is a pine tree encrusted with ice, between Sunriver and Lapine on Hwy 97.  There was freezing fog.  Very beautiful to see, glad hubby was driving and not me.

January Workshop. Wings

So my next workshop is January 23rd.  A brand new paper pack called "Wings"  The workshop is scheduled 1-4pm on this Sunday.

Challange at the Retreat

 

So at the Pirates and Pearls retreat I went to, there was a challenge.  We did not know what paper we were going to be given, but  we could take black and or white card stock, adhesive, scissors and paper trimmer.  The photos had to have something to do with, or been taken in 2009.  I took 2 pieces each of white and black cardstock.  We had 30 minuetes to complete the 1 or 2 page layout.

 

Here is my 2 page layout.  There was I think 8 of us that did this challenge.  I had mine done in about 11min.  I know my layout is simple, but I wanted the colors of the pics to stand out.

I had so much fun doing these layouts on the computer.  No mess.  Faster.  I will still do traditional pages.

Wedding Album, Engagement photos

 This is some of the engagement photos that Clint and Julia had taken.  At Klamath Lake.  I had only 40 made of the lower left.  This shows their sense of humor and just a select few invitations had this pic included. 

It was really cold on this day.  Sun may have been out, but still chilly.

This layout is pics of the "Groom", Clint and the Maid of Honor, Matron of Honor and the bridesmaids. Some candid shots

Again, Using Bella paper.  This paper packet is retiring Dec  31st.

I used Create-A-Shade paint on the flowers to give them shimmer.

 This is a close up of the vellum sticker.  I colored in the flowers and leaves with a blending pen and ink pads in the colors of the wedding.

The story behind this set of pages is; We had the wedding party on the road taking pics, heard a truck turn onto the road, a diesel and when the truck came into view, noticed it was Grandma in her truck.  Thought it was by the sound, but it couldn't be, that would make her early.  Which she almost never is.  LOL.

 Used paper pack Bella and Bella stickease.  Also used a cuttlebug, brads and liquid glass.

Winter is here!

The snow has finally arrived.  Yahoo!!!.  I took a couple pics off of our deck.

This is a pic looking west.  The sunset pics that I post is usually taken from this spot. I checked my posts on this blog and found only one pic of a sunset from this spot.  The others must be in my computer, somewhere. ( LOL)

Just got home from a Weekend Retreat; Pirates and Pearls

 This is part of the decorations at the retreat I went to this weekend.  35 of us ladies there.  This was at Camp Cascade.  What a Blast!!!   Didn't get as much scrapping done, as planned, but that is not unusual for me.(LOL).

 This is half of the room, set up with the tables to scrap on.  We got there at Noon on Friday, and left Sunday at 11am.  We actually left an hour early.  Felicia, Carol and I carpooled.
The food at Camp Cascade was great.  I ate way too much.

Met a lot of neat ladies, had a wonderful time visiting and looking at all the ways people do their scrapbooks.  New ideas and creativity abound.

Computer Crashed

I am unable to post artwork at this time, due to my desktop crashing.  I was checking my emails and all of a sudden the computer just turned off.  It would not restart, so I unplugged it and waited approx. 5mins.  Tried to start it up again, after a min of sounding like it was going to start, turned off again. 

I texted my son-in-law, and the response was that I should of replaced the computer 5 yrs ago, LOL.  But it served my needs, why update it?  OLD.  Oh, well.  I will try to figure out my laptop a little better, and get some artwork on here.  I have been very busy with projects for the holiday, so I have pics I need to download.

Road Trip. OOPS

I see that I did not add any more pics from our road trip, the 1st part of Aug.  This is Cape Blanco on the Oregon Coast

Studio J, showcasing it on Wed. Sept 22nd.

Howdy all,  I will be showcasing "Studio J" at my house on Wed. Sept 22. The time is 11am till 5pm.  I did 10 2-pg layouts.  So nice, what a way to catch up on scrapping.  I will have details, also on the different plans that a customer can do.

Been busy.  Went to the coast on Labor day weekend.  Visited with my mom, didn't take but a couple of pics of my nephews.

Day 2 of Road Trip, part 2

Here is pics of us in the Redwoods.  This is a side road, Howland Hill Rd.  Had a few tight fits.  Stopped at the ranger station and asked if any restrictions on width.  It just said no motorhomes or trailers, figured it was a length restrictions.  Glad we weren't any bigger.


These are some BIG trees.  After seeing these, ours are just babies, LOL.

Day 2 of Road Trip, part 1

We went to the Oregon caves and down to the Redwoods in California, Jedediah Smith park.

This is inside the Oregon Caves.  Loved all the different formations.  Please enjoy.

Road Trip with Hubby

Hi,  Went on a road trip with hubby last weekend.  Will be adding pics over the next couple of days.  We traveled 919 miles from Saturday morning to Wednesday morning.  First stop was Wildlife Safari in Winston, OR.  Here are a few pics from there.

Busy, Busy

Hi, been busy.
I volunteered at the Oregon Jamboree last weekend.  Also been working on a scrapbook for a friend.  Will get pics eventually.  I did a 18pg layout from a level 2 paper pack and 1 pack of cardstock.  Actually did 2 of these from 2 different paper packs.  I have half the pics on pages, now just need to add the "bling, wow factor".

Be sure and check out the constant campaign.  Already lots of items have sold out.

Helping Daughter Move.

Been  busy helping daughter and son-in-law move.  He graduated from college and got a job, in another state.  Will be heading home soon.  Good luck to them both.
