Christmas Tree

Boy, has it been awhile since I posted. I have a lot of cards to post. Just so busy. My daughter and I put our tree up tonight. Here is a picture or two.

Aspen paper pack. Coordinating inks, outdoor denim, creme brulee, twilight and colonial white.
Outdoor denim brads and colonial white brads. Colonial white grosgrain ribbon. tiny sparkles and glitter glue.

30 Card Christmas Workshop, part 1

This is the Evensong paper pack from CTMH. Inks used; Cranberry, New England Ivy.
Used Cranberry grosgrain ribbon, Colonial White ribbon, brads in both colors. New England Ivy bigger brads. And the tiny sparkles. Also use sparkles, glitter glue.

Here is a picture of a sunset taken off of our deck. I love to take pictures of sunsets. I have seen so many sunsets off of this deck.

Did 8 pages this morning in 3 hours. 1st page is cover page. This was for a friends birthday. Most of the paper is Close to My Heart. The boots are the My Acrylix stamps. The Large letters are the Homested set of stamps from Close to my Heart. There is stickers from LSS. The rest of the pages will be the next post.

Card for Open House

This is a card that is for a make and take at my open house on Sunday.
The colors are New England Ivy, Cranberry and Colonial White.

Another Road Trip, Old Mackenzie Hwy

We went on the old Mackenzie Hwy. on Aug 16th. First day it was open this summer. It usually opens in May or June. Stopped at a little lake/campground on the east side of the summit. Very pretty, I thought I would take a picture, so walked to the end of the lake, through some grass. Boy, did I stir-up some mesquitos, fastest I have moved in a long time that was not at a run. By the time I got in the car I had 7 bites. Decided we would just go on to the Dee Wright Observatory. Here are some pictures. Some inside, looking out square holes or windows, at the surrounding mountains and a few pictures from the outside.

Cards made while canning Tuna

While the canner was rocking and steaming for 1 1/2 hours I made these cards.
I used Blue Ribbon paper pack, Indian Corn Blue Cardstock, Colonial White Cardstock.
Inks used: Outdoor Denim, Black
Accessories: Clear Buttons
Stamp Set: Nursery Bash

Daughters cat sneaking up on rabbit.

My daughters cat was trying to sneak up on a rabbit in our sideyard. She was doing good till I decided to take pictures and the dogs heard me go on the deck. The pic with her looking towards the camera was when she gave up with a disgusted look. You can tell in the pic that she got close.

Paper pack Level 2 , Sarsaparilla from CTMH.
CS: Barn Red, Colonial White, Desert Sand and Twilight.
Ink: Black, Twilight, Barn Red and Desert Sand.
Accessories: Natural Hemp, Liquid glass, Itty Bitty Brads in Black, Dry embosser.

Won second place in the swap. There was 10 rounds with 5 slots per round.

Sunset Cards

I haven't had much time to do cards or scrapbooks. Here are 2 cards made from a new stamp set, a CTMH set, that is available in Sept.
I used Crystal Blue, Sunflower, Topiary and Black ink. White daisy textured cardstock and sponge daubers.

Blue Ribbon Cards

Here is 4 cards that I am doing at a card club on Tuesday. Used 2 B&T papers from the Blue Ribbon level 2 paper pack. Paper flowers from the white daisy variety pack, white daisy ric rac, white daisy organdy 3/8" ribbon, outdoor denim striped ribbon, clear buttons, indian corn blue brad, indian corn blue CS, outdoor denim CS, colonial white CS, indian corn blue ink pad and outdoor denim ink pad. Additional items used was liquid glass and prisma glitter. Hopefully I didn't forget anything. Enjoy

2 page layout using Boom-Di-Ada paper pack level 2
Used Garden green brads in the corners of title.
Spiral clip on corner of a photo mat.
Stamped flowers and used liquid glass on them, placed in corners of green photo mats. 3 flowers, with petals woven together, then glued down.
Distressed with ink and sanding.
