PIcs from our trip to Sunriver, 1st weekend of Dec

The top picture was taken on the Santiam Pass, by Hoodoo ski area.  The bottom picture is a pine tree encrusted with ice, between Sunriver and Lapine on Hwy 97.  There was freezing fog.  Very beautiful to see, glad hubby was driving and not me.

January Workshop. Wings

So my next workshop is January 23rd.  A brand new paper pack called "Wings"  The workshop is scheduled 1-4pm on this Sunday.

Your 12" paper trimmer, Scissors, Adhesive, Kraft knive/X-acto knife,
Vineyard Berry, Sweet Leaf and Black ink pads.

Create-a-shade paint
And your Acrylic Blocks

You can't see the shimmer, in person this is a very nice workshop.

Challange at the Retreat

 

So at the Pirates and Pearls retreat I went to, there was a challenge.  We did not know what paper we were going to be given, but  we could take black and or white card stock, adhesive, scissors and paper trimmer.  The photos had to have something to do with, or been taken in 2009.  I took 2 pieces each of white and black cardstock.  We had 30 minuetes to complete the 1 or 2 page layout.

 

Here is my 2 page layout.  There was I think 8 of us that did this challenge.  I had mine done in about 11min.  I know my layout is simple, but I wanted the colors of the pics to stand out.

I had so much fun doing these layouts on the computer.  No mess.  Faster.  I will still do traditional pages.

Wedding Album, Engagement photos

 This is some of the engagement photos that Clint and Julia had taken.  At Klamath Lake.  I had only 40 made of the lower left.  This shows their sense of humor and just a select few invitations had this pic included. 

It was really cold on this day.  Sun may have been out, but still chilly.

Wedding layout; Clint and the Girls

This layout is pics of the "Groom", Clint and the Maid of Honor, Matron of Honor and the bridesmaids. Some candid shots

Again, Using Bella paper.  This paper packet is retiring Dec  31st.

I used Create-A-Shade paint on the flowers to give them shimmer.

 This is a close up of the vellum sticker.  I colored in the flowers and leaves with a blending pen and ink pads in the colors of the wedding.

Another layout for daughters wedding album

The story behind this set of pages is; We had the wedding party on the road taking pics, heard a truck turn onto the road, a diesel and when the truck came into view, noticed it was Grandma in her truck.  Thought it was by the sound, but it couldn't be, that would make her early.  Which she almost never is.  LOL.

 Used paper pack Bella and Bella stickease.  Also used a cuttlebug, brads and liquid glass.
